Laura is a part of the MyMuse team as our employment law consultant. Having worked in the legal industry since 2000, Laura didn’t take the traditional route of going to university straight out of school. Instead, Laura commenced her law degree in her mid-20’s whilst working full time in a law firm that supported her endeavours. In the final year of her degree, Laura juggled full time study with her full time job and succeeded in graduating with honours, being admitted to practice law in December 2012.

Laura shares the MyMuse philosophy of being empathetic and showing compassion in our interactions towards each other, and she has had personal experience in supporting people she cares about cope with the impact of trauma in their lives.

Laura is based in Melbourne, as a Senior Associate at the commercial law firm Harris Carlson Lawyers.

Mark Turner | CFO

Mark has many titles, and while it’s his technical & commercial finance skills that best describe his role at My Muse, it’s the rest of them (Daddy. Hubby. Philanthropist. Runner. Traveller. Senior Finance Leader) combined that best describe him and the person we have supporting behind the scenes.

Originally from the UK - and following a stint in North America - Mark has called Australia home for almost 10 years now. A chartered accountant, he has worked across a broad spectrum of financial roles in an increasing leadership capacity, mostly in financial services but also in the wellness industry.

Mark has a keen interest in developing a career path which results in more than just profits, and is excited at the prospect of being part of something that can really make a difference to people’s lives. Combined with watching too many people impacted by cancer throughout his lifetime, he’s excited to be part of My Muse’s journey. (Profile photo coming soon)
